5 Top Superstars Triple H Fumbled in WWE
The WWE locker room is filled with immensely talented superstars.
Some get a chance to be in the spotlight and shine, while others have to spend their time on the sidelines.
That said, here are 5 WWE stars that I believe Triple H fumbled in a big way. These five stars are incredibly talented, but WWE is not using them to their full potential.
#1 Randy Orton
Randy Orton is a WWE legend with decades of experience, but Triple H is keeping him out of action for some unknown reason. (He’s not injured).
He hasn’t been used in a proper storyline in what feels like ages. HHH could slot him into a major top storyline or have him elevate new talent, but he hasn’t.
Plus, fans have been waiting for his heel turn on Cody Rhodes for a long while now. There is a lot of potential in Rhodes and Orton revisiting their past as rivals.
People were eager to see the storyline unfold in WWE, but the hype around the angles has significantly died down.
#2 Bayley
WWE is floundering hard with Bayley. Her recent storyline with Lyra Valkyria, showing that wild split personality, had real juice. But it feels like they’re not pushing it or putting in any real effort.
Plus, Triple H had her lose clean to rising NXT star Sol Ruca at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, which many people felt tanked her credibility as a veteran with years in the game.
#3 Finn Balor
Finn Balor exploded early onto the main WWE roster as the first Universal Champion. His “Demon” character was straight fire, and fans loved it.
But the shoulder injury he sustained at SummerSlam 2016 killed his momentum, and ever since, Triple H hasn’t rebuilt him.
Now he’s just a sidekick in Judgment Day, feeling totally sidelined, which feels like wasted potential since he’s immensely talented and deserves a big push and a credible storyline.
#4 Omos
Omos is a 7-foot-3-inch beast, and Vince McMahon saw huge potential in him. He wanted to use him as an extraordinary spectacle.
But under Triple H’s booking, he has turned him into a special attraction instead of a weekly force, leading to inconsistent usage.
He’s still under WWE contract, but The Game hasn’t booked him for a TV appearance in what feels like forever.
His last televised WWE match was the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 5, 2024, episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
#5 Shinsuke Nakamura
WWE is straight-up missing the boat on Shinsuke Nakamura by sidelining his killer charisma and “King of Strong Style” vibe.
After an initial big push, they’ve failed to keep capitalizing, sticking him in lame feuds.
Fans have been wondering why his international appeal and solid ring work are fading into nothing.
