Who Is The Mystery Man Behind The Mask At WWE Survivor Series?
WWE Survivor Series 2025 came to an end with a major surprise twist.
The main event of Survivor Series Premium Live Event saw CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso team up to take on Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breaker in a traditional WarGames match.
The ending segment of the bout saw a mystery man climb the steel cage and get inside the ring to attack CM Punk just as Punk hit a GTS on Logan Paul and seemed poised for a pinfall.
The mystery man delivered a superkick followed by a stomp to Punk, which allowed Bron Breakker to capitalize and pin The Best In The World after hitting the World Heavyweight Champion with a spear.
The masked individual executed moves reminiscent of Seth Rollins, which led everyone to speculate that The Visionary might have been the one under the mask.
However, Rollins has been out with a shoulder injury since Crown Jewel in Perth, and he’s not rumored to return until next year’s WrestleMania season.
Even Wade Barrett, on the commentary team, claimed that it was not Rollins. Then who was the mystery man?
Austin Theory Could Be Behind The Mask At WWE Survivor Series
Ahead of Survivor Series, it was rumored that Austin Theory was scheduled to make his return to WWE.
His potential return was reportedly set for Survivor Series, where he was supposed to join the heel team in the WarGames match.
However, he didn’t make it onto the team. But it looks like WWE may have found a way for him to help the heels.
Theory has been absent for four and a half months now. His last WWE match took place on the July 14 edition of Main Event, where he lost to El Grande Americano.
Anyone could’ve been behind the mask, but Austin Theory feels like the most likely choice. Plus, a mystery attacker storyline would be the perfect way to reignite his WWE run.
