WWE is heading into 2026 with a packed roster. This can only mean that the potential for blockbuster bookings is huge, and the company should try to book as many as possible.

Fans are heading into the next year with a few matches in mind, and the Stamford-based promotion should look into finding a spot for those matches during the events.

Here are 5 matches WWE should book for 2026

Every blockbuster match has one thing in common: History. If there is history, there is violence, and that is what the WWE Universe wants to see: two superstars filled with bitterness trying to take out the other.

1. Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk

Paul Heyman betrayed Roman Reigns for Seth Rollins. This is what the WWE Universe saw. However, The OTC might not be sharing the emotion.

The only reason The Wiseman was not with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41 is that CM Punk cashed-in on the owed favour and asked Heyman to be in his corner for the Triple Threat match. So, Reigns can believe that the original betrayal started with The Best in the World.

Despite teaming up for WarGames 2025, the bitterness lingers. So, it’s time to put the two in the ring and let them fight it out to see who is the better ‘Paul Heyman guy’.

2. Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker was an unstoppable force in WWE, but he became an established force of dominance when Seth Rollins brought him into The Vision. He put The Dog under the spotlight and allowed him to come under Paul Heyman’s mentorship.

Instead of being grateful, Breakker turned on him, kicked him out of The Vision, and essentially replaced him in the heel faction. Seth Rollins will return to WWE with vengeance in his mind. He has already claimed that he will take back the World Heavyweight Championship first, regardless of whether it is with CM Punk or Bron Breakker.

The fight between Rollins and Breakker will be one for the history books!

3. Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso II

The Usos fought each other at WrestleMania 40. It was supposed to be a story of Cain and Abel, where one brother’s jealousy pushes him to take down the babyface. However, the show they put up was not what the fans expected at all.

Now, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso have reunited, but The YEET Master has shown signs of turning heel. WWE needs to find a way to put the brothers in the ring and let them run it one more time. This time, The Usos will get it right and put up a performance that will speak volumes about their legacy.

4. Becky Lynch vs. AJ Lee

The Man and The Black Widow share a bitter history that originates from Seth Rollins and CM Punk’s rivalry. Becky Lynch helped Rollins retain the World Heavyweight Championship and slapped The Best in the World. While Punk would not raise his hands on a woman, his wife and former Divas Champion, AJ Lee, had no problem giving Rollins and Lynch a taste of their own medicine.

After defeating The Visionary and The Man in a mixed tag-team match, Lee cost Becky Lynch the Women’s Intercontinental Championship and was a part of the winning team at WarGames while Lynch was in the team that lost.

A feud between Lee and Lynch has been teased for a while. A match between on one of WWE’s Big 4 is much anticipated.

5. Rhea Ripley vs. IYO Sky II

Rhea Ripley lost the Women’s World Championship to IYO Sky, and the feud continued for a while. In fact, after Naomi dethroned Sky, the feud continued even then.

At this moment, Ripley and Sky are a tag team. They have the tag team division and the champions on notice. However, they are two of the popular stars of the women’s roster. One of them turning on the other, maybe Sky turning heel on Ripley, and finally a new feud between them will entice the fans!
