WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka has passed away.

Snuka is regarded by many as the pioneer of high-flying offense because of his Superfly Splash from the top turnbuckle. WWE extends its condolences to Snuka’s family, friends and fans.

Snuka was in the news in the last couple of years because of a 1983 murder involving his then girlfriend Nancy Argentino. The charges were dropped 11 days ago after a judge ruled that Snuka had dementia as well as terminal cancer and was near death. T
