Jimmy Snuka, who was one of the biggest WWF/E stars of the 1980s, has passed away at the age of 73. He had been battling stomach cancer for several years. His real name was James Reiher Snuka.
His daughter, WWE superstar Tamina Snuka, posted this image on Instagram.

WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka has passed away.
Snuka is regarded by many as the pioneer of high-flying offense because of his Superfly Splash from the top turnbuckle. His dive off the top of the steel cage onto Don Muraco at Madison Square Garden as hundreds of flash bulbs went off will forever live as one of the most memorable moments in WWE history.

Snuka was in the news in the last couple of years because of a 1983 murder involving his then girlfriend Nancy Argentino. The charges were dropped 11 days ago after a judge ruled that Snuka had dementia as well as terminal cancer and was near death. T
