WWE UK Title Match Added to NXT Takeover Chicago; WWE UK Events to Air on WWE Network Later in May

It was announced today that the WWE United Kingdom Championship will be on the line at NXT Takeover Chicago on May 20 as Tyler Bate defends the title against Pete Dunne.

The math was set up during WWE’s two day WWE UK Championship taping event in Norwich, England on Saturday and Sunday. The events didn’t air live, but Triple H has said that the tapings will air at some point this month.

What day and time? We don’t know yet.

The only other match announced for NXT Takeover Chicago at this time is this NXT Women’s Championship Fatal 4-Way Match: Asuka (c) vs. Ember Moon vs. Ruby Riot vs. Nikki Cross. That might be changed because Ember Moon has an arm injury and is likely going to be removed from the match.

There are other matches that we know of, but they contain spoilers and I don’t want to put those on the site until they air on NXT television.
