WWE News: The Undertaker Will Return On Monday Night Raw February 29 In Nashville

TJR Wrestling

It was announced on WWE.com on Tuesday night that The Undertaker will return to Raw next Monday, February 29 in Nashville, Tennessee. Here’s what it says in the post on WWE.com:

The Undertaker will appear live on next Monday’s edition of Raw for the first time in 2016, WWE.com can confirm. Following Mr. McMahon’s blockbuster declaration that The Phenom will battle Shane McMahon inside Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania to decide if The Boy Wonder will assume control of Monday Night Raw, the WWE Universe has been speculating on what the legendary Superstar will have to say about his role in the McMahon family power struggle. Will The Deadman shed further light on his historic 24th contest at The Showcase of the Immortals? Tune in to Raw next Monday, live at 8/7 C on USA Network, to see The Deadman’s return.

This will mark his first time back on WWE television since he teamed up with his “brother” Kane at Survivor Series to beat The Wyatt Family.

There’s no word on if Shane McMahon will be on Raw, but if I had to guess I would assume that he will be. They will need to really push this storyline in the five episodes of Raw that remain on the road to WrestleMania.

As of now, there’s no Brock Lesnar on Raw based on his schedule that has been released weeks in advance. Roman Reigns could also be off the show since he was attacked by Triple H and had nose surgery. That means they will probably focus a lot of the show around the Undertaker’s new feud with Shane McMahon.

It’s going to be interesting to see how The Undertaker reacts to the news that Vince McMahon has picked him to pick Shane. Since Shane is likely going to remain a babyface and The Undertaker is always cheered, it’s a face vs. face match at WrestleMania. There could be some twists along the way.
