WWE News: Paul Heyman Expected At Raw This Monday With Brock Lesnar

TJR Wrestling

Brock Lesnar is scheduled to return to WWE Monday Night Raw this Monday and prior to today, there were questions about whether his advocate Paul Heyman would be with him. Ten days ago, we reported that Heyman’s WWE contract was up and there was no indication that he had signed a new deal because he wants to do outside projects while WWE often times is against stuff like that. However, since he’s a part time WWE performer with Lesnar it’s definitely possible that they could agree to something.

The good news is that Heyman will be there Monday night on Raw as PWInsider confirmed with multiple sources. The report from Mike Johnson notes that Heyman will be in Atlanta with Lesnar and that the two men were spotted at a New York City airport on Sunday as well.

Lesnar is scheduled to face Randy Orton at SummerSlam on August 21 although Orton is part of the Smackdown brand, so they likely won’t be in the same building until that night.

Analysis: Good news. I didn’t expect him to miss out on being with Lesnar on screen again because he enjoys his role so much. It’s been four months since Lesnar and Heyman have been on WWE TV following Lesnar’s WrestleMania win over Dean Ambrose, so it will be very interesting to hear what they might say. Will they address Lesnar’s drug test failures following his UFC 200 victory? I doubt it, but with Heyman you never know.

Heyman is the best talker in WWE. Any time he’s out there it’s a good thing. I’m looking forward to this.
