WWE News On The NXT Return Of Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre stepped foot in the Full Sail University NXT ring for his return tonight after being away from WWE for quite some time to perform in TNA. This news comes after he recently signed another contract with WWE and was intentionally placed on camera at NXT: Takeover Orlando this past Saturday.

Details on the return are still developing and we will update this post as more information is available, but for right now McIntyre defeated Oney Lorcan with the Claymore Kick. It should also be pointed out that he does not have his original theme song. After the match, he was interviewed and put over NXT as the place to be.

Outside of the obvious disappointment that Drew McIntyre does not have his epic Chosen One entrance theme from his original WWE run, it’s awesome that he’s back in action already. Here’s hoping that WWE doesn’t mismanage a great talent again.
