WWE News: Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton rematch set for Chicago live event

Brock Lesnar destroyed Randy Orton when they met at SummerSlam eight days ago and now the rematch is set. It will take place on Saturday, September 24 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. It will take place one day before the September 25 Clash of Champions pay-per-view featuring the Raw brand.

The announcement was made by the Allstate Arena Facebook page with a post noting that it would be Lesnar vs. Orton and they also have a video promoting other matches such as Rusev vs. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in action.

For people wondering if this will be shown on WWE Network, I really doubt it. There’s a PPV the next day, as mentioned, so it wouldn’t make a lot of sense to show this the night before as well.

There’s no word on when Lesnar may appear on WWE TV again or when he might return for a PPV match, but it’s possible he could be a part of Clash of Champions if he’s going to be on the road the day before.
