WWE Network News: R-Truth Will Be Hosting A Game Show

TJR Wrestling

R-Truth will be hosting a WWE Network game show that will air this year in late summer/early fall according to a report from PWInsider’s Mike Johnson.

The report notes that WWE “secretly filmed a pilot” for the WWE Network’s first ever game show that will feature R-Truth as the host of the show. The pilot of the show was done in March and apparently it went well enough that WWE has decided to make a full season of it for WWE Network.

There’s no word yet on what the show is called, how many episodes there will be or what other WWE stars may be a part of it, but those details should come out soon.

TJR Thoughts: This seems like one of those ideas that WWE is going to try, they’ll see how the fans react to it and it could be really bad, but they might as well try some different things on their own network. I think it’s a lot better than those crappy “reality” shows that they have. Then again, I’m not the target audience for shows like that.

Good for R-Truth because he’s got a big personality and could pull it off. At this point, though, we don’t know enough about the show to actually form much of an opinion on it.
