WWE: Cesaro Reportedly Tears Rotator Cuff; Could Miss 4 to 6 Months

TJR Wrestling

WWE Superstar Cesaro may be joining his tag team partner Tyson Kidd on the sidelines as news is swirling that Cesaro may have a torn rotator cuff. If reports are true and surgery is required, it would keep Cesaro out of action for the next 4 to 6 months. According to Cagesideseats.com (along with multiple other sources), this news comes from sources close to WWE. If this news is in fact true, it means that Cesaro will most likely miss WrestleMania 32 alongside Seth Rollins who’s recovering from knee surgery and Randy Orton who’s recovering from shoulder surgery.

Jim Ross had the following to say about Cesaro’s apparent injury:

Mark’s reaction:

Reading this news made me very upset. Cesaro is one of the best workers in the company and has been putting on some extraordinarily good matches over the past few weeks. In my head, I picture the WWE brass quietly high fiving over this news as now they don’t have to keep ignoring the cries from fans about giving Cesaro the push he deserves. In reality though I’m sure they are just as upset as I am about this news as Cesaro is a valuable asset to this already injury depleted roster.

As of right now, the following guys are out of action due to injury: Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Sting, Tyson Kidd, Rusev, Sami Zayn, Hideo Itami and Daniel Bryan. There are others too. I know some of these names will be back soon ,but it doesn’t take away from the fact that the WWE will feel the absence of these wrestlers every week or month that they’re not there. Here’s to a quick and safe recovery for the Swiss Superman. We will miss you.
