Brock Lesnar, the reigning Universal Champion, is currently not scheduled for the next Raw pay-per-view event, Payback on April 30, despite being used in Payback’s promotional material. Plans can always change, but as of right now, this means that the Universal Championship will not be defended at Payback.
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer recently reported that Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman is expected for Payback. Yesterday’s Raw teased the idea of Roman Reigns being the next challenger for Lesnar’s Universal Title. Meltzer also noted that Reigns vs. Lesnar is currently expected to headline next year’s WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
