With this year’s WrestleMania under a month away, more matches for the event are starting to be announced as well as hinted at.

Styles lost his WWE Championship number one contender match against Randy Orton during last night’s edition of Smackdown. This means Orton will go on to face Wyatt at WrestleMania while Styles currently does not have any plans for “the show of shows.”

A WrestleMania 33 match between “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles and Shane McMahon has been reported on by many reliable sources for the last couple months. After last night’s edition of Smackdown went off the air, Styles and Shane engaged in a heated confrontation backstage. You can watch a video of that confrontation below.

Mark’s reaction: That confrontation was well done. The intensity was there and having people break up the two of them made this feel important. On a side note, I can’t help but think, if Daniel Bryan was allowed to compete, if WWE would have went with Styles vs. Bryan instead of Styles vs. Shane.
