Updated Lineup For WrestleMania 34; US Title and Cruiserweight Title Matches Added

TJR Wrestling

The full lineup for WrestleMania is nearly complete following this week’s editions of Smackdown and 205 Live. The event takes place on Sunday, April 8th at the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans with a special start time at 7pmET/6pmCT. The Kickoff Show is expected to start at 5pmET/4pmCT. Last year’s WrestleMania was five hours for the main card and seven hours overall, so that’s what we expect this year.

Here’s the lineup.

Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns

WWE Championship: AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon vs. Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka

Intercontinental Championship: The Miz vs. Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins

United States Championship: Randy Orton vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal

Raw Tag Team Championships: Sheamus & Cesaro vs. Braun Strowman and ???

Raw Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax

Andre the Giant Men’s Battle Royal

WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn (It’s on the card for now, but it’s expected that they will be in a tag team match on the same team against Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon.)

Cruiserweight Championship: Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali

That’s 12 matches.

John Cena vs. The Undertaker is not on there yet, but that’s coming too.

I expect there to be one more featuring the Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Usos. They will likely face The New Day and Bludgeon Brothers in a Triple Threat Match. It could be a Ladder Match or maybe a Street Fight to differentiate it from the other matches on the card.

The United States Championship match was announced on Tuesday afternoon with the obvious triple threat setup similar to what’s happening with the Raw guys for the Intercontinental Championship.

The Cruiserweight Championship match became official when Mustafa Ali beat Drew Gulak on 205 Live last night.

It looks like a very good lineup with some potential classics in there.
