Undertaker Expected To Wrestle Beyond WWE WrestleMania 32

TJR Wrestling

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting some backstage hearsay on The Undertaker’s future as a WWE performer, noting that he is not expected to have his last match at WrestleMania 32, which is being held in Arlington, Texas (near Dallas) at AT&T Stadium.

This news also falls in line with Taker’s good friend Jim Ross last week publishing in his blog that he doesn’t expect The Phenom to retire just yet.

Undertaker is one of those legendary wrestling personas that hooked me on the performance art at such a young age, so this is both good news and bad news. It’s always entertaining watching Undertaker perform (even at the age of 50 he still gives the live audience and fans at home everything he has) but it is getting a bit scary reading about the tolls each match takes on his body.

He literally passed out and was escorted to a nearby hospital after WrestleMania 30 (although some blame directly lies on Brock Lesnar for concussing him with a German Suplex), and most recently was caught limping outside his hotel after SumerSlam.

I do think that people should give the legend himself the benefit of the doubt however; surely he knows what his body can and cannot handle.
