The Rock Announces He Will Be At WWE WrestleMania 32

TJR Wrestling

The Rock just took to his Instagram account to announce that he will be appearing at WrestleMania 32 in Arlington, Texas on April 3, 2016. WrestleMania 32 will be taking place at AT&T Stadium where the Dallas Cowboys play. The WWE will be looking to break the all-time attendance record at WrestleMania 32 since AT&T stadium can hold up to 105,000 people when expanded for standing room. The previous WWE attendance record was at WrestleMania III in 1987 where the Pontiac Silverdome housed 93,137 people. The Rock’s attendance will certainly help WWE in reaching to break this record.

This was The Rock’s official announcement via his Instagram:

He also responded to a hater saying that others in WWE are excited about him being there.

Mark’s reaction: This is great news. Having The Rock at WrestleMania is never a bad thing, especially if the WWE is trying to break their previous attendance record. It also helps since the WWE will be missing some of their more popular wrestlers for WrestleMania 32 such as Seth Rollins, Cesaro and likely Randy Orton among others.

I’m assuming we’ll be seeing The Rock in the same type of role he played at WrestleMania 31 during his segment with Ronda Rousey, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon. I’m thinking this non-wrestling role will most likely be the case for The Rock as it was previously reported that he can’t physically compete due to the filming of an upcoming movie. The movie studio does not want The Rock to risk potential injury which is understandable. In this Instagram announcement, he also never says that he’ll be competing as he uses words like electrify and having fun. I don’t mind it, as long as Rock’s there it should add for a cool WrestleMania moment.

Of course, there’s a possibility that he may be in a match too. Rumored names like Triple H or Brock Lesnar come to mind in that case. We have three months to figure it out!
