WWE.comtoday announced that there will be a spinoff to the Total Divas series. Aptly named “Total Bellas” it will feature mainly Nikki and Brie Bella, and their partners John Cena and Daniel Bryan and will be shown exclusively on the E! Network.

Below is the official statement from WWE.com:

‘Total Bellas’ coming to E!, new ‘Total Divas’ cast announced

LOS ANGELES – E! has announced the new series “Total Bellas” with Nikki and Brie Bella, a spinoff of the network’s hit series “Total Divas.” The six, one-hour episodes will give viewers exclusive access into the lives of The Bella Twins and their significant others, John Cena and Daniel Bryan, as the WWE Superstars move in together and enter a new chapter of their lives, both professionally and personally.

After Nikki goes through delicate surgery on her neck and spine, her sister and brother-in-law move into the house she shares with Cena in order to care for her and keep her company during her long and protracted recovery. The Bella Twins will continue to appear on “Total Divas,” which concludes its fifth season tomorrow night at 9 p.m. ET.

“We are excited to build on one of our most successful franchises with this new series that goes exclusively inside the world of WWE fan favorites The Bella Twins,” said Jeff Olde, EVP, Programming and Development, E! “Nikki and Brie Bella have an undeniable charm and wit that matches their irrefutable beauty, and we are thrilled to get an intimate look into what it’s like to be in a relationship with some of the hottest sports entertainers in the world.”

In addition to the above announcement, WWE also confirmed that a sixth series of Total Divas will airing on E! this fall with a few new cast additions. Lana, Maryse and Renee Young will be joining the cast while Mandy, Alicia Fox and Rosa Mendes bow out. Again, the official announcement is below:

Additionally, E!, WWE and Bunim-Murray Productions’ hit series “Total Divas” will return for its sixth season this fall. Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Eva Marie, Naomi, Natalya and Paige will continue to give viewers an inside glimpse at balancing life in the spotlight and the non-stop action of their professional careers with the drama of their everyday lives.

In addition, Season 6 will introduce “Total Divas” fans to Lana, Renee Young, and Maryse, a former two-time WWE Divas Champion and wife of Mike “The Miz” Mizanin.

Ski’s Take – With one retired and one injured, it doesn’t mean you won’t be seeing the Bellas anymore, as WWE and E! come together to create a spin off from Total Divas, the brilliantly (English sarcasm) titled Total Bellas.

My wife watches Total Divas religiously. Every Sunday evening at 6pm. I usually find things to do like watch paint dry but sometimes I’m forced to watch it. On the occasions that I do, it’s clear that Nikki and Brie have an exit strategy for when they leave the nice cosy umbrella of the WWE. They are entrepreneurs with their fingers in a lot of pies. Real estate, lingerie lines and reality TV stars.

There was one thing that Eva Marie said in an episode that I saw once, and that she wants to build a brand around herself. An empire so to speak. It looks like her fellow co-stars have beaten her to it though. The sisters are off TV for now, yet are still seen as the faces of the now defunct Divas division. With Brie now retired and Nikki’s in-ring career possibly over, they’ll have more time for the TV side of things while talent like Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Paige can push the Women’s Division forward.
