A WWE superstar on the Raw brand has discussed how he felt after suffering an injury during a recent match.

The January 24 edition of WWE Raw featured a matchup between Ludwig Kaiser and Bron Breakker. The match ended without a winner because Sheamus interfered due to his rivalry with Kaiser.

After the match, it was revealed that Kaiser suffered an injury. The talented German superstar hasn’t been able to wrestle since then.

In an interview with Metro, Kaiser spoke about wrestling for about ten minutes after suffering the broken rib injury.

“It was one of the rougher weekends, it was a dark [match] on Friday on SmackDown, the next two days I did live matches and then the Raw match.

“I was a little banged up before, I had a little bit of a problem with my rib before. And yeah, very, very early in the match – actually, I think like the first minute or the second, I landed, and I felt right away that my rib was broken. I couldn’t breathe anymore really, couldn’t really move anymore. Yeah, that was the situation.”

While Kaiser is currently on the shelf with a rib injury, he is advertised for a dark match on the August 30th edition of SmackDown in Berlin, Germany one night before the Bash in Berlin PLE in his home country. The match currently scheduled is GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser vs. Sami Zayn and Ilja Dragunov.

GUNTHER Set To Challenge Damian Priest At WWE SummerSlam

Ludwig Kaiser has been part of the Imperium group for most of his WWE run. In recent months, he has done more singles matches while his former tag team partner Giovanni Vinci was sent to Smackdown. Kaiser can normally be seen backing up the former Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER.

At SummerSlam on August 3rd, GUNTHER will have one of the biggest matches of his career when he challenges Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Title.
