CM Punk is making an impact in NXT.

Since returning to WWE in late 2023, CM Punk has been determined to give back to the next generation. This has seen the star make several appearances on NXT television while offering advice to anyone who wants it backstage.

More recently, Punk appeared on the September 17th episode of NXT where he got between Roxanne Perez and Giulia before being named special guest referee for the upcoming clash between Trick Williams and Ethan Page.

On October 1st, the show will premiere on the CW Network, and Page will put his NXT Title on the line against former champion Williams.

Trick Williams Loves Learning From CM Punk

During an appearance on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Williams opened up about Punk’s involvement in NXT, explaining how he’s found a way to connect to people from different backgrounds.

“CM Punk has been great to us here at NXT. As you know, we got athletes from all over with different backgrounds. We got throwers, we got gymnasts, we got a little bit of everything here at NXT, and Punk has found a way to be able to be helpful to us all. Not just me, but all of us.

We sit down and we take the knowledge and we learn from CM Punk. So the fact that he’s the special guest referee when we go to Chicago on October 1st, it’s huge for us. I’m super excited about it.”

Meanwhile, Mark Henry recently tipped CM Punk to become a coach when he ends his own career, suggesting he’d work well as a teacher.
