WWE Hall of Famer and legendary commentator Jim Ross shared his thoughts on Randy Orton’s standing in professional wrestling history.

During an episode of his podcast, “Grilling JR,” Ross offered glowing praise for the third-generation superstar, positioning him among the greatest in-ring performers of all time. When asked about where Randy Orton ranks among the best in-ring workers, Ross didn’t hold back in his assessment, placing Orton at the very top.

Right there at the top of the list without question.

Ross said, emphasising Orton’s exceptional talent and long-standing success in the industry. Ross also commented on Orton’s natural ability and wrestling lineage, saying:

He’s a natural, pro wrestling was in his DNA. Still is.

Coming from a family with deep roots in the sport, being the son of “Cowboy” Bob Orton Jr. and grandson of Bob Orton Sr., Orton’s wrestling prowess has long been apparent. In addition to Orton’s natural gifts, Ross highlighted the Viper’s impressive longevity and consistency in the ring.

He still goes out and has as good a match as anybody on the card to this very day.

Ross noted, pointing out that Orton has maintained his high standards throughout a career spanning over two decades. Ross didn’t just praise Orton’s in-ring work but also acknowledged his overall contribution to the business.

He’s talented as hell and he’s brought his game forward with him on through all his title reigns and main events and so forth.
