Logan Paul Provides Clarity For Confused WWE Fans

Logan Paul WWE

There was some confusion from WWE fans about Logan Paul’s upcoming title match, so the US Champion has done his best to put an end to it.

In the main event of the WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE on May 25th, Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against the United States Champion Logan Paul.

When the match was originally announced by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, it was originally announced as a Champion vs. Champion match with many fans assuming that both titles would be on the line.

There were even promos between the wrestlers where Cody spoke about wanting to win the US Title for the first time to become a Grand Slam Champion.

On WWE SmackDown from Jacksonville, Logan Paul and Cody Rhodes had a contract signing for their match. During the contract signing, Paul had a lawyer with him and made it clear that only Cody’s WWE Title would be on the line while Paul’s US Title would not be on the line.

Both men eventually signed the contract so it is officially an Undisputed WWE Title match only while Paul’s US Title is not on the line.

During an interview with Cathy Kelley on WWE’s The Bump, Cathy mentioned that things had “shifted” in the plans for the Cody-Logan match. However, Paul responded in a way that made it clear what title was always going to be on the line.

“Things haven’t shifted. This was always for Cody’s title, not mine. I’m shocked that people are shocked about that.”
