TJR Wrestling

Former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy has spent the last six years wrestling for TNA, ever since the first-ever Monday night live edition of Impact in January 2010.

Jeff has been saying over the weekend that his contract with TNA Wrestling expires in February 2017. This is according to the latest edition of Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Jeff has stated in many interviews over the last two years that he would love to return to WWE and end his career there, if WWE would want him back. He will be turning 39 years old this August, so if Jeff wanted to reunite with WWE, there would be no better time to then early next year.

In a Sports Illustrated interview last month, this is what Hardy said about going back to WWE: “I know I’m getting close to the end. I can feel my body telling me something. I don’t know how much longer I’ve got, and naturally I would love to end with a WrestleMania and I would love to have a Hell in a Cell. That’s something I’ve always wanted to do, and I’ve always wanted to headline ‘Mania.”
