Bray Wyatt injured in car accident, will miss WWE Raw tonight

TJR Wrestling

Bray Wyatt, who is one half of the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, is out of action for tonight’s edition of Raw due to a car accident he suffered over the weekend. According to WWE.com, Wyatt was involved in the car accident on Friday.

Here’s what WWE reported:

Bray Wyatt was in a car accident Friday and has sustained multiple injuries, WWE.com can confirm. Wyatt was en route to the airport for this past weekend’s Raw WWE Live Events when he was in a head-on automobile collision that left his car totaled. He was treated at Tampa General Hospital and has since been released.

Due to the injuries sustained, Wyatt did not compete at this weekend’s WWE Live Events and will not be present at tonight’s Raw.

TMZ managed to contact Wyatt, who said: “I’m gonna live through it because I can’t die.” Wyatt added that he’s in good spirits and moving around.

What isn’t known is if Wyatt will be cleared to return by Extreme Rules on July 15 when he is set to defend the Raw Tag Team Titles with partner Matt Hardy against Bo Dallas (Bray’s brother) and Curtis Axel. We could learn more about that on Monday.

We wish Bray the best in his recovery from this car accident. The good news is he was treated and released from the hospital. Hopefully, it is just a minor thing and he can be back in the ring soon.
